During Women's History Month, we are celebrating some of the incredible women who help care for the San Diego Coast District State Parks. While their titles may seem simple, their impact is vast. Each of these women plays an essential role in park operations—whether in public-facing positions or behind the scenes. Together, they help California State Parks fulfill our mission: 'To provide for the health, inspiration, and education of the people of California by helping to preserve the state's extraordinary biological diversity, protecting its most valued natural and cultural resources, and creating opportunities for high-quality outdoor recreation.'
