On April 23rd-26th, WILD joined the Siihasin Bike Group on the Navajo Nation to build recreational bike trails for students at the Indian Wells Elementary School.
On April 17th, WILD organized a free Easter Egg Hunt to introduce underprivileged youth to our local trail systems, teach them the importance of trail etiquette and Leave No Trace.
On March 7th, WILD shoveld the track so the public could engage in athletic pursuits even after a snow storm.
Over several weeks in January 2022, we held a Food Drive in Durango High School to benefit Native Hope. The food would be going to over 90,000 people on the Navajo Reservation.
Our high school club held a rally to raise awareness of the opioid epidemic. Subsequently, club members Nina Quayle, Hays Stritikus and Leo Stritikus spoke to the school board to promote a policy change which would allow Narcan distribution on school campuses.
WILD Ski Days
We have hosted several women's ski days at our local ski hill Purgatory.
On September 21 we hosted a community hike up Hogsback that connected participants ranging from 7-79 years old.
WILD Women Backpackers series-
A three day series of hikes to develop skills including water filtration, edible wild foods, camp set up and take down, route finding, and other critical skills.
Kids Summer Camp -
An outdoor-based summer camp with 12 young women participants. Cumulated in a multi-day river trip down the San Juan river.

Abortion Rights rally
On October 9th, WILD members participated in a rally organized by Barbara Mclachlan and Adam Frische. Nina Quayle, co-founder and president, took the stage to represent younger generation and share her thoughts about the right to choose.
Throughout the month of September and October, WILD worked with local candidates, Adam Frische and Barbara Mclachlan, to encourage voting for the midterm elections.
On October 6th, our high school club participated in a parade to bring awareness to our organization.
On July 4th, WILD held a voter registration campaign at our Durango's annual 4th of July Fun Run.
On March 14th, WILD organized a rally in partnership with Indivisible Durango response to the leaked Supreme Court draft predicting the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Abigail Bowman, Willow Lott and Nina Quayle were the MCs for the event.
