Events
We aim to diversify and strengthen the outdoor community by empowering women to discover their capabilities through wilderness exploration, primitive survival skills, and community service projects. This will encourage self-reliance in nature, a desire to protect the outdoors, and independence for women in all aspects of society. In addition, engagement across age groups and the greater Southwest will foster a mentorship aspect and encourage the cultivation of a safe community that allows women to discuss and address gender-based inequality. WILD works with like-minded groups to maximize our impact.
Meet every Thursday at lunch. You must attend three meetings as a community member before applying for a board member position.
