This year’s theme, "Level Up. Build Strong.," represents the opportunity to build a future where women are leaders and decision makers in the construction industry. To expand this celebration beyond construction, we are launching a video competition focused on “Women in Civil Engineering”.
This is an opportunity to showcase the contributions, leadership, resilience, and unique perspectives that women bring to the field. By participating, you contribute to a collective effort to amplify the voices of women in our industry, promote visibility, celebrate the strength and potential of women in civil engineering.
To create a short, impactful one to two minute video that promotes and celebrates the role of Women in Civil Engineering in an engaging way. The video should deliver a strong message, that could resonate with the theme "Level Up. Build Strong.", or other relevant themes.
Videos will be judged based on:
Creativity – How original and engaging is the video? While using AI does not disqualify the submissions, videos that rely heavily on AI generation without meaningful creative direction, editing, or personality will score poorly in this category. We're looking for your vision and effort, not default AI output.
Quality – Visual and audio quality (clear footage, good sound, polished editing)
Message and Impact – Does it leave a strong impression?
