We are thrilled to announce that Playful Engineers will be visiting Wolfpit School on March 31 – April 1, 2026!
Playful Engineers brings creative engineering to life through engaging activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving. Students will build and experiment with mechanisms and contraptions, learning fundamental engineering principles in a fun, interactive setting. The program emphasizes open-ended discovery, allowing kids to explore how things work through designing and 5th grade will be constructing their own creations.
This in-person experience is designed for students of all ages and supports hands-on learning, collaboration, and confidence in STEM skills.

On November 12, 2025, each grade was given the opportunity to spend 45 minutes inside a large planetarium dome set up in the gymnasium. As students entered the inflated Skydome Planetarium, the gym was transformed and they were transported into space.
Students blasted off into the stratosphere like astronauts, learning to identify every planet in our solar system through dramatic “flights” to each world. They also met Greek mythological characters and discovered how these heroes of the past can be found among the stars. Students experienced the night sky in different seasons and viewed it from perspectives around the globe.
