Whether someone is hiding behind some blast doors or is trying to go through life with a false identity, it will not matter in the end. Because once the Ghost of the Frontier is on your tail, he will find you...
Caden, also more commonly known across the galaxy as Redeye, is an original character made to be set in a cyberpunk-wild-west world built around the bones of games such as Cyberpunk and Red Dead Redemption. An engineered black and silver German Shepherd from the "Shepherdfolk" family, Caden was once a member of an elite unit of mercenaries known as the "Pack" under the Calderon Security Consortium's banner. Enhanced with a cyborg arm and a cybernetic eye, he now walks the wasteland alone, acting as a mercenary, bounty hunter, and reluctant legend of the frontier.
VERSES
V: Main Verse
Caden's core universe. A cyberpunk-wild-west setting where Caden operates as a bounty-hunter or mercenary for hire, in his post-Pack days. Set after the collapse of any central government or authority, companies like Calderon have power over the land, leading to the rise of cults, rebellion factions, and of course, the ones with the money and power who wish to maintain what bit of control they have left.
V: Hellaverse Verse
Set in the world of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, Caden is a hellhound who was able to break free from a contract of an Overlord (Calderon) to try and find his own path through the darkness. He carries out tasks as a mercenary, carrying them out with brutal efficiency, although he is haunted by fragmented memories of his past... and what happened before he met Calderon.
V: The Amazing Digital Circus Verse
Caden is trapped within the Amazing Digital Circus transformed into a more "cartoon-esque" version of himself, now taking on a player model of a German Shepherd with interesting design choices that make him stand out. He struggles with an identity, has some glitchy memories, and generally is trying to find a way out... so long as he doesn't go insane and abstract, first.
V: Pirate Verse
In a world of old relics, curses, and pirates, Caden is the lone survivor of a ship's crew that fought a fleet carrying a cursed sword. Now bound to said blade, Caden searches the seas hoping to find more information, while acting as a captain amongst his crew as well. Whatever he's searching for, however, may come with a higher cost than he anticipates...
V: Fantasy Verse
A once-loyal knight and hunter in service to the Calderan Pact, a group sworn to hunt outlaws, beasts, and curses across the fractured kingdoms, Caden was betrayed during the Fall of the Ortheldra Kingdom. He was ambushed by his own and left for dead, surviving thanks to only a forbidden artifact, a cursed gauntlet known as the Wyrmsteel Arm which is now fused to his body. Caden wanders the realm as a bounty hunter for different kingdoms and as an outcast, feared by many for his precision and brutal efficiency. Although he acts primarily as someone who works for gold, he is actively searching for what caused the Calderan Pact to be destroyed and for the resurgence of something called The Crucible, a group of warlocks and nobles who were long since dead...
V: Zootopia Verse
Once a respected ZPD officer and task force leader, Caden uncovered dark truth behind the "rehabilitation" of savage predators, leaving the ZPD to serve justice on his own terms. Now a rogue vigilante working in the shadows of Tundratown, he blends in with the crowd during the day and hunts corporate corruption at night.
V: Cyberpunk-2077 Verse
Created as a living weapon by Calderon BioWorks, Caden escaped during a botched firmware update. Leaving a trail of blood and broken servers in his wake, he now acts as a cyber-enhanced bounty hunter. He stalks Night City's alleys and the Badlands' ruins, haunted by fragmented and corrupted memories and a name etched on to every fixer's lips... REDEYE.
