With the increase of players in the WNBA who use social media it allows individuals to look up to these players from day to day rather than just on the court. People are able to see what their lives are like in season and off season due to players using social media platforms. The players who will be entering the draft in the 2025 season and for seasons to come have had the opportunity to grow up with watching and supporting the WNBA over the years. The future is looking bright for the WNBA as they are looking at potential places for new franchises to go.

The women who are currently playing at the professional and collegiate level of basketball or any sport have many younger fans who look up to them. These girls either pretend to "play" like them in their own games or in their backyard. These girls have the opportunity to look up to these individuals and see that they can have the chance to play in the WNBA or even let alone the collegiate level.
