The Dudley Limestone Way walk is a 4.5 mile linear walk crossing over some of the limestone hills of Dudley. This is not a signposted route, although there are a few concrete marker posts along the way. I start by walking through Priory Park, and heading via the Dudley Register Office and then on to St James Priory Ruins, where the trail begins. We head alongside Dudley College and on to Castle Hill Woods and then crossing over to Wrens Nest National Nature Reserve, to see the remains of the Severn Sister Caves (Now filled in) and limestone rock faces as well as views of the West Midlands, We leave the nature reserve and head across to Parkes Hall Pool, then on to Turls Hill and Sedgley via The Beacon Hotel Pub and on to Sedgley Beacon to complete the walk with more views.
