Attendance Policy:
I understand that for my student(s) to be eligible to participate in the trip, there is an attendance policy that needs to be abided by. The trip coordinator and/or WMS Administration has the option to remove students who miss 10 or more days of school from the trip roster.
Behavior Policy:
We feel it is important for students participating in the Washington, DC trip to demonstrate the ability to follow rules and be respectful to peers and adults. Therefore, the following policy must be abided by in order to participate in the trip. If, at any point in the school year, a violation of the behavior policy, the student will no longer be welcome on the trip. Keep in mind, that if a student is no longer able participate in the trip, monies already paid are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
The trip coordinator and/or WMS Administration will remove students who are out of school suspended once or in-school suspended twice.
Out of school suspension once
In-school suspensions twice
We do not foresee this being an issue, as most of the students who have signed up in the past have been extremely respectful and rule abiding students. However, we also want to ensure that the chaperones can trust the students that we travel with to follow all school, city, state, and federal rules in order to represent Woodbury Middle School positively.
