Purpose: Enables the app to access stored files such as recipes, notes, or meal photos on Android 12 and below.
• android.permission.CAMERA
Purpose: Allows the app to capture images directly from the device camera (e.g., taking photos of meals, ingredients, or recipe steps).
• android.permission.INTERNET
Purpose: Required for core functions such as fetching recipes, syncing user data, displaying ads, and connecting to cloud-based services (e.g., AI recipe generator, meal planner sync).
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Deprecated in Android 11+)
Purpose: Used for saving recipes, meal plans, or exported files on devices running older Android versions. On newer versions, scoped storage is used instead.
• android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
Purpose: Allows the app to access precise location data from GPS and network sources. This helps provide accurate location-based features, such as suggesting nearby meal ideas, local ingredient availability, or personalized regional content.
• android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Purpose: Enables the app to access approximate location information using Wi-Fi or mobile networks. This is used for general location-based suggestions and analytics without pinpointing the user’s exact position.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application and related services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties as described in this privacy statement.
