Dr. Zeeshan Alam
Dr. Zeeshan is an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).
His research focuses on mechanics and elastic wave propagation in soft active materials, with particular emphasis on hard-magnetic soft composites, tunable phononic crystals, elastic wave band gaps, and topology optimization. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Jodhpur in 2025.
