Q: What is Cinder?
A: "Cinder is a digital dreamworld made possible by blockchain technology. It’s a crypto-native social hub, creative commons, and free-form MMO community that’s evolving rapidly and empowering players in new ways."
According to a Google Doc going over Cinder-
"Cinder is an upcoming “play-to-earn” MMO being developed by WW. It will run on the Solana blockchain, enabling people to create, buy, and sell non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the ingame marketplace. More information on the game (including a roadmap!) can be found on their official site."
Q: Why is Cinder a bad thing?
A: Cinder is a game based on blockchain technology. Many things, like cryptocurrency, that use this technology are widely known to have a severely harmful environmental impact.
Cinder states that they'll be using the Solana blockchain. Although Solana says they're carbon neutral, many doubt the legitimacy of these claims.

(It is suggested you do your own research on this one.)
Q: What is an 'NFT'?
A: NFT stands for 'Non Fungible Token'.
A quick explanation from this Verge article:
“Non-fungible” more or less means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else. For example, a bitcoin is fungible — trade one for another bitcoin, and you’ll have exactly the same thing. A one-of-a-kind trading card, however, is non-fungible.
Q: What is a 'blockchain'?
A: According to euromoney.com, "Blockchain is a system of recording information in a way that makes it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system."
