Dear Esteemed Sponsors and Delegates,
I am honored to welcome you to the 16th iteration of the Washington-Liberty Model United Nations Conference!
Over the past several months, the WashMUN Secretariat, chairs, and staff have dedicated countless hours to building six diverse and thought-provoking committees. Whether delegates want to examine the far-reaching consequences of fast fashion or lead the international response to the discovery of Atlantis, WashMUN pushes them to challenge themselves and solve global complex issues through diplomacy.
During the past couple years, I have prepared for WashMUN both as a member of the Secretariat and a chair, and I have come to appreciate the experience this conference provides. It is my hope that WashMUN XVI encourages delegates to further refine their public speaking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at generalsmun@gmail.com. On behalf of all of us on the Secretariat and staff, we look forward to welcoming you to WashMUN XVI.
Sincerely,
Sabrina Yimer,
Secretary-General, WASHMUN XVI
