Dear Sponsors and Delegates,
Welcome to the 15th annual iteration of the Washington-Liberty Model United Nations Conference! Over the past several months, conference staff have been hard at work developing eight immersive and thought-provoking committees. Whether you are interested in furthering peace worldwide through nuclear disarmament or intrigued by the religious fervor surrounding the Salem Witch Trials, there is a committee for every middle school delegate here at WASHMUN.
Since its founding, WASHMUN has prided itself on providing a well-rounded MUN experience that encourages delegates to step outside of their comfort zone and take bold action to solve ongoing global crises. Our experienced chairs are deeply passionate about their committee topics and eagerly await your participation in spirited discussions and collaborative efforts to craft meaningful solutions. If you have any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact the Secretariat at generalsmun@gmail.com.
I am excited to see the creativity and diplomacy that this year’s conference will inspire!
Sincerely,
Jaya Shah
Secretary-General, WASHMUN XV
