All visiting delegates are expected to act in a civil and professional manner whilst attending ARLMUN IV. Delegates are reminded that the conference is a school-sponsored event and that they are required to act in accordance with certain rules and responsibilities as outlined in the Arlington Public Schools Student Code of Conduct. Any delegate found to be in breach of these guidelines may be disqualified from awards consideration or subject to further disciplinary action.
All committee positions at ARLMUN IV are single delegation. The conference will not be providing any opportunities to participate as a double delegation.
ARLMUN IV prohibits any form of plagiarism, including but not limited to the reuse of resolutions from previous conferences. Additionally, any pre-writing of resolution papers and/or directives prior to the beginning of committee is barred. Any delegate found to be liable for plagiarism or pre-writing may be disqualified from awards consideration or subject to further disciplinary action.
Submitting a position paper is not required for any of the three committees offered at ARLMUN IV, although it is recommended for General Assembly delegates. The paper should include background information on the topic, the delegate's stance and past actions, as well as proposed solutions. Delegates will not be penalized or removed from awards consideration if they do not submit a position paper.
ARLMUN IV is a technology-free conference. Using an electronic device to conduct research or write resolutions within committee or during breaks is prohibited.
