ABOUT US

WJ Student Tutors is a non-profit led by Walter Johnson High School students in Rockville, MD that supports global access to free online education. Our goal is to give elementary and middle school students the opportunity to be tutored by current high school students free of charge.

WJ Student Tutors has recruited the most qualified high school students to tutor K-8 students in several subject areas.  Whether students are looking for homework help, assistance in subjects they are struggling in or are simply looking to get ahead, WJ Student Tutors wants to help.

Our organization is directly backed by staff members from Walter Johnson High School and parents are welcome to communicate directly with our tutors if desired.  Tutoring takes place online via Zoom and is currently focused on providing support to students in Montgomery County Public Schools.
