Although Steel Center is a CTE, WJHSD has sent students to the Vocational School since its establishment as Steel Valley Area Technical School in 1964. In 1980 Steel Valley was moved and renamed.
The New Building was $20 Million initially and has since been renovated in 2024 for $29 Million.
