EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Wizz Air is a low-cost airline operating mainly in Europe. The airline was founded in 2003 and managed to carry 10 million passengers within 5 years of its establishment (Wizz Air, 2022a). With the aim of expansion, it was decided to open a sister airline, Wizz Air UK, which launched in 2017. The airline currently has 150 aircraft operating over 1140 routes in 51 countries. In addition, more than 5,500 employees work directly for Wizz Air (Wizz Air, 2022b). The portfolio provides information about Wizz Air's strategy, monitoring and implementation. In addition, this study presents a strategic analysis of the airline and proposes some recommendations.
