The former SA Research Chair in Bioinorganic Chemistry (Professor Orde Munro) is truly grateful for the generous financial support received from the NRF over the years, but especially for my Tier 1 SARChI Chair, our equipment and running costs, our student bursaries/support, and the post-doctoral research fellows who have been supported on the Chair's SARChI grant since 2015. Even though my SARChI Chair has come to a permanent close, ending on December 31 2022, the impact of the Chair is expected to last for many years going forward.
We wish to specifically acknowledge the following NRF grants:
Grant No 64799 (Bioinorganic SARChI Chair, 2015-current)
Grant No 116177 (MCDF spectrometer, 2019)
Grant No 129920 (Dual-wavelength hybrid diamond anode X-ray diffractometer, 2020/2021)
The former SARChI Chair of Bioinorganic Chemistry at WITS University (Professor Orde Munro) wishes to thank the University for their generous financial support of our research, particularly significant co-support on several medium and large equipment grants, start-up funds for the Chair, and continued support for post-doctoral research fellows in the group.
