About Tyler
After growing up in south-eastern Pennsylvania, I began my career in education by moving to Maryland teaching middle school science. It was during these first few years of teaching that I saw the true transformation technology could have on learning. Technology made lessons personalized and engaging. It made things come alive in my students' eyes that they'd never been able to experience before. It was also during these first few years that I realized how few students were experiencing these things outside of my classroom. I made it my mission to help other teachers learn what I had learned - technology could be transformative. I began studying for my master's degree in Virginia and eventually moved to and began working in Virginia with educators throughout the DC metropolitan area.
