Jaclyn believes writing can be a political act. This belief has shaped her manifesta for Witches Mag, her academic work, her personal essays, and her Instagram captions. By day, Jaclyn works for an academic publishing company, trying, as she always is, to comfort, challenge, and educate people through good storytelling.
When she’s not writing, editing, or publishing, Jaclyn is probably crying over a singer-songwriter in the last row of Madison Square Garden, or reading in a quaint coffee shop while drinking exclusively Arnold Palmers.
