Dr. Weitian Wang's research focuses on multiphase transport, micro/nano manufacturing, and multiphysics modeling for electrochemical energy conversion devices, particularly water and CO₂ electrolyzers. Specifically, Wang have great interests on the experimental/numerical investigation on the mass/charge/heat transport in various electrochemical energy conversion devices. Additionally, his work is dedicated to designing and manufacturing high-performance, durable, and cost-effective electrodes and devices to accelerate the commercialization of clean hydrogen and other sustainable chemicals.
Dr. Weitian Wang is also co-advised with Prof. Feng-Yuan Zhang.
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Yonsei University, 2022
Dr. Hsu’s research centers on molten-salt thermohydraulics, boiling heat transfer on micro/nanostructured surfaces, and multiphysics modeling for extreme energy systems. His recent work at UTK includes high-temperature FLiNaK experiments, capillary and wettability studies, and COMSOL modeling to support advanced reactor diagnostics.
Dr. Hsu is also co-advised with Prof. Eric Lukosi.
