Each presenter is asked to briefly introduce both themselves and their research, including the research background, objectives, methods, and current or expected outcomes. All presentations must begin with a short self-introduction, including basic biographical information as well as any casual information the presenter would like to share, such as hobbies or favorite foods.
Undergraduate research students will have 5 minutes, while graduate students will have 7 minutes. The time limit should be strictly observed to ensure smooth progress and equal opportunity for all speakers. A short Q&A session will follow each presentation or presentation block. Presentation files should be prepared in PPT or PDF format.
All participants are encouraged to actively engage in the workshop by listening carefully, asking questions, and providing constructive feedback. To promote active discussion, each participant is expected to ask at least one question during the workshop. Questions do not need to be highly technical or fully developed; simple questions about motivation, methodology, results, future plans, or the presenter’s research experience are all welcome.
Two presentation awards will be given to recognize outstanding student presentations. One awardee will be selected by student voting after the presentation sessions, while the other will be selected by the invited lecturer. Participants are encouraged to consider not only the technical quality of the research, but also the clarity of the presentation, slide organization, delivery, time management, and the presenter’s response to questions.
