Eclectic electric and acoustic music - originals, traditional with a twist, covers, Irish, and gospel! I offer a steady stream of live music that's perfect for any event, plus studio work and productions.
My prototype B Customs electric banjo was made by Danny Boyles Guitar of Jackson, GA.
"A refreshing change of pace," as one listener said.
Fishman SA 330x tower provides plenty of sound, even outdoors. Fishman Loudbox Mini and Micro for smaller/quieter gigs.
Decades of experience - from playing in an evening gown with the West Georgia Choral Society to playing in overalls on a flatbed truck. Have opened concerts and played at all sorts of events/venues - corporate, breweries, markets, farms, historic sites, music festivals, weddings, receptions, etc.
Can provide a steady stream of live banjo music - electric or acoustic - for both day and evening events.
Have performed in productions including Cotton Patch Gospel at the University of Georgia and Gordon State College, with symphony players in Rhapsody in Bluegrass at Perry UMC, and with the West Georgia Choral Society.
Also play guitar (mostly rhythm), upright bass, and some mandolin.
Session work at Muscadine Studios in Macon.
I LOVE sitting in with rock and soul/funk groups where a banjo may not really seem to fit. But it does! Here, with Lady Creech and the Mainstreet Band.
Sound Options
My Fishman SA 330x provides plenty of sound for outdoors, as well as inside. My Fishman Loudbox Mini and Loudbox Micro are perfect for smaller spaces and a quieter sound.
Of course, I also offer acoustic banjo, with microphone and Fishman, or with no amplification at all if desired.
