Dr. Subhas Chandra Mukhopadhyay

Dr. Subhas Chandra Mukhopadhyay currently is working as a Professor of Mechanical/Electronics Engineering with the School of Engineering, Macquarie University, NSW 2109, Australia. He is the Discipline Leader of the Mechatronics Engineering Programme. He is also the Director of International Engagement for the School of Engineering. His fields of interest include Sensors and Sensing Technology, Instrumentation, Wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, Mechatronics and Robotics etc. He has authored/co-authored 9 books, over 400 papers in different international journals, conferences and book chapter. He has edited eighteen conference proceedings. He has also edited twenty four special issues of international journals as guest editor and thirty three books.

Dr. Rajesh M Hegde

Rajesh M Hegde is a Professor and Head of the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. He currently holds the Umang Gupta Chair Position and was also the P.K. Kelkar Fellow (2009-13) at IIT Kanpur. His areas of interest include Machine Learning, AI, future wireless networks, pervasive/mobile communication, WSN, IoT, speech/audio processing for ASR and VR, multimodal information fusion. He also has considerable interest in robotics applications. He also serves as the Head of the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at IIT Kanpur.

Dr. Julian Cheng

Julian Cheng received a B. Eng. Degree (First Class) in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada in 1995, a M.Sc. (Eng.) degree in mathematics and engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada in 1997, and a PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2003. In July 2006, He joined the School of Engineering, Faculty of Applied Science, The University of British Columbia (Okanagan campus) as an Assistant Professor. He is now a Full Professor in the same School. Previously, Dr. Cheng worked for Bell Northern Research (BNR) and Northern Telecom (later known as NORTEL Networks), and taught at both University of Alberta and Lakehead University. His current research interests include digital communications over wireless channels, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, spread spectrum communications, statistical signal processing for wireless applications, and optical wireless communications. Dr. Cheng co-chaired the 12th Canadian Workshop on Information Theory (CWIT 2011), the 6th EAI International Conference on Game Theory for Networks (GameNet 2016), and the 28th Biennial Symposium on Communications (BSC 2016). In 2012, he chaired the 2012 Wireless Communications, which was held July 3-5, 2012 in Banff, Canada. Currently, he serves as an Area Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications. In the past, he severed as an Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Communications Letters, and IEEE Access. He also served as a Guest Editor for a special issue of IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications on optical wireless communications. Dr. Cheng is also a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Cheng was also the founding chair of IEEE Okanagan Subsection. He is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia. Currently, he is serving as the President for the Canadian Society of Information Theory (CSIT) as well as the Secretary of Radio Communication Committee (RCC) of IEEE Communications Society.

Dr. Zilong Liu

Dr. Zilong Liu is currently working as Lecturer in School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE) in University of ESSEX. Dr. Zilong Liu received his PhD from NTU in June 2014. He received his MSc Degree from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in Jul. 2007. Dr. Zilong Liu received Bachelor Degree from School of Information and Electronics Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. He is an IEEE Senior Member and an Associate Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, IEEE Access, Frontiers in Communications and Networks, and Frontiers in Signal Processing.


Dr. Suraj Sharma

Dr. Suraj Sharma is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at International Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar. Dr. Suraj Sharma has done MTech and PhD from NIT Rourkela and currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at IIIT Bhubaneswar since 2012. He is also associated with the startups such as: TechBootCamps, QualkiAcademy & AUUM Technologies and Government funded projects. He has published more than 60 research papers in the reputed International Journals and Conferences. He is the director of the IoT and Cloud Computing lab established in IIIT and currently supervising four Ph.D. scholars, two MTech. scholars and more than ten BTech. students in the research area of Internet of Things (IoT), Localization, Machine Learning/AI, Big Data, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Cloud and Edge Computing. He involved in several research communities including IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, ACM, CSI, IEI, ISRD etc. He served on the editorial boards of top-quality international journals, including Computers & Electrical Engineering (Elsevier), ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications & Application, IEEE Consumer Electronic Magazine and so on. He also served as the Track Chair, Publicity Chair and Program Chair for many International Conferences and Symposiums. Dr. Abhinav Kumar

Dr. Abhinav Kumar is currently working as an Associate Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India. Dr. Abhinav Kumar received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India in 2013. He received his Dual Degree with B. Tech in electrical Engineering and M. Tech in Information and Communication Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in Jul. 2009. He is an IEEE Senior Member and Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.


Dr. Sudhir Kumar

Dr. Sudhir Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, India. Dr. Sudhir Kumar received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He was associated with TCS innovation Lab, Kolkata, India as a Scientist in the broad area of sensor Data Analytics. His broad research interests include wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-Physical systems, Molecular and MIMO communications, Applications of signal Processing and Machine Learning.


Dr. Keshav Singh

Dr. Keshav Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Communications Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan. Dr. Keshav Singh received his PhD degree in communication engineering from National Central University, Taiwan, in 2015. He received his M.Sc. degree in information and telecommunications technologies from the Athens Information Technology, Greece, in 2009. He leads research in the areas of green communications, resource allocation, full-duplex radio, ultra-reliable low-latency communication, non-orthogonal multiple access, wireless edge caching, machine learning for communications, and large intelligent surface assisted communications.


Dr. Sajal K. Das


Dr. Sajal K. Das is currently working as Professor and Daniel St. Clair Endowed Chair, Dept of Computer Science, Missouri University of Science and technology, Rolla. Dr. Sajal K. Das received his PhD in Computer Science from University of Central Florida, Orlando, in 1988. He received his M.S in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 1984. He received his B.S in Computer Science and Engineering from Calcutta University, India, in 1983. His areas of interest includes Cyber-Physical Systems, Security and Privacy, Smart Environments (Smart city, Smart Grid, Smart Healthcare), IoTs, Wireless sensor Networks, Big Data Analytics, Parallel, Distributed, and Cloud Computing, Applied Graph Theory and Game Theory. Dr. Sajal Das is the Founding Editor-in- Chief of Pervasive and Mobile Computing journal.


Dr. Pradnya H. Ghare


Dr. Pradnya H. Ghare is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), India. She received her PhD degree from VNIT. Her broad areas of interest includes body area networks, wireless sensor networks, brain computer interface and user node localization. She has also developed products such as smart water bottle, wireless saline indicator unit and automated hand sanitizer machines. She is current member of IEEE Communication Society and IETE.
