SAP Event Barn: Marketing and Event Management

Currently, Grand Valley’s Sustainable Agriculture Project includes no structure that provides space for students, community members, and volunteers to hold meetings, to cook and clean farm produce, and to use the restroom. Following the demolition of a previous structure, students, staff, and visitors are seeking a new space that can accommodate a larger, more diverse crowd and provide basic needs. These include accessible bathrooms, a kitchen, and a space for private events, educational classes, and workshops. This event barn will create an inclusive and welcoming space for staff, community members, and students of all ages. The event barn will allow the Sustainable Agriculture Project to grow and expand its impact to more of the student population, the community, and the Sustainable Agriculture Project’s partners.

Our group is focused on creating marketing and event possibilities for the event barn. We have included a sample poster, Instagram post, email, event calendar, and leasing contract for the space.
