What color tights do I need?

Pink tights: Party Guests, Clara, Fritzie, Little Snowflakes (Ballet I-B), Sugarplum Fairy, Marzipan (Ballet II-A), Waltz of the Flowers (Intensive Ballet), Big Snowflakes (Ballet II-B)

Tan tights: Gingerbread (Ballet I-A), Doll 1, Doll 2, Mice (Jazz I), Nutcracker, Hot Cocoa, Coffee, Candy Canes, Tea (Ballet III)

Black tights: Soldiers (Adult Ballet)

No tights: Mouse King

Hair/Make-up

Hair: unless otherwise instructed, hair should be in a high bun, with fly-aways hairsprayed back. The below classes are exceptions:

• Party Guests (Ballet II-A): hair half up/down

• Clara: hair in ponytail with ribbon bow

• Soldiers: low bun for hats

Make-up: stage make-up is necessary to avoid faces being washed out on stage. Please to use neutral colors for eyes (brown) and lips (light red, pink).

COSTUME REMINDER:

We handle costumes differently in our winter performance vs. our spring performance. Costumes will be rented to each dancer by the studio for the dress rehearsal and the show, and must be returned immediately following your final performance (be sure to bring a change of clothes!). There will be a station to return your costumes to our parent volunteers and/or staff members/teachers. Please make sure all accessories are included. Once all costumes are returned, we will review and reach out to you if anything is missing. Please remember, you are responsible for returning all pieces of the costumes.

Any missing costumes or accessories will be subject to additional fees if not returned. Thank you!
