You can take your own self-guided tour at any time with the following directions:

1. Install the Hoverlay app on your mobile device from the AppStore or GooglePlayStore. 

2. When you are in Winchester, between the Shore Road bridge at Judkins Pond and down the Aberjona River to the Post Office, open the app and look in "Local" displays for Winchester Riverwalk.  Select it.

3. Select a display that has a green dot (red dots mean you need to move closer to activate it).  

4. If you have silenced the speaker on your phone, enable the sound and adjust your audio volume.

5. There are displays over both Judkins Pond and the Mill Pond, along Shore Road between the High School and the rotary under Winchester Center MBTA station, at Town Hall and Fire Station, at Jake Horn Square (in front of Starbucks), near Converse Bridge (around the waterfall), Lyceum Hall, next to the Unitarian Church on Mystic Valley Parkway, and many other locations.

6. Tap the icon for the display when it has the green dot showing, and follow the directions on the screen; for example, face the pond when directed.

7. Watch for traffic !  And watch for other pedestrians, bicycles, kids, strollers, and cars.
