Winnie

Winnie was my heart rat and the inspiration for the name of our rattery. Winnie came from a pet store with his brother Bumble. He was the friendliest rat I have had. He was always around for a cuddle. Unfortunately in January 2020 he had a stroke and had to be put to sleep in February 2020.

Bumble

Bumble was a chubby boy who was very opinionated about what he wants and when he wanted it. He was the boss of the boys but was very affectionate and cuddly. Bumble came from a petstore with his brother Winnie, who has also passed away.

Piglet

Piglet came to us all the way from Hamilton. He was the most affectionate of all the boys and was always at the door waiting for a cuddle. Piglet was a mummy's boy and is very attached to his humans. He spent most of his time sleeping with his brothers.

Lavender

Lavender is a spunky girl who is full of energy. She has a strong personality and likes to be in charge. She is sweet and loves to come out for play time where she will run around and cause mischief.

Bertie

Bertie was the sweetest boy. He was origionally only going to be a short term foster but I could not let him go. Bertie loved to lick your hands and face and always wanted to cuddle. He loved to groom your hair and was overall a lovely boy.

Bramble

Bramble was the sweetest little guy. He loved cuddles and was often waiting at the door of the cage! He knew how to stand his ground with the bigger boys and loved his best buddy Bertie. Bramble is an NZ Angora/Fluffy. Bramble passed away due to suspected heart issues.

Boo

Boo was a sweet boy who was soooo tiny when he first came to Winnie's Rattery. He was a strong willed little boy who stood up for himself against the big boys. He ias super lovely and cuddly. Boo unexpectadly passed away at 11 months.

Sandra

Sandra was a sassy rescue girl who liked to think she wasthe boss of the girl group. She was VERY food orientated and loved to steal food off of her sister Pamela. Sandra was rescued at 2yrs so will never be bred.

Pamela

Pamela was a lovely girl who played with all the other girls. She was doften found sleeping with Puffin and Celeste and Sandra. Pamela loved taking care of Celeste. She was put down with her sister due to declining health.

Frankie

Frankie is a lovely boy who loves kisses. Frankie is the leader of his brothers and is friends with Bramble. He is a big boy who loves to playfight and loves food.

Olive is extremely energetic and always ready to come out for play time. She is super speedy and playful but is still extremely friendly. She loves to hand wrestle and zoom around the cage. Olive is a fluffy carrier.

Rosise is a very zoomy girl who occasionally decides she loves cuddles. She loves her buddies Olive and Floss and is always cuddled up in a hammock or sputnik with them. Rosie is an NZ Angora/FLuffy.

Bunny is a sweet girl who loves to run on the wheel, she is energetic but lovely. She was the only girl in her litter! Bunny is soft and gentle, she loves playing with the other girls and climbing up everything in the rat room.

Daisy loves people and always runs to say hi to me. She is very vocal and squeaks when others come near her or when she gets picked up. She must of inherited this from her Dad, Cricket, who was a squeaky boy himself.

Cosmo is a cool dude who loves to chill in sputnicks all day. He is super laid back and relaxed. Sometimes he is so lazy he doesn't even want to come out for playtime!

Comet

Comet was the only surviving boy in his litter. He is best friends with Boo and is in love with food. This little guy is special due to his small blaze!

Amethyst

Gingko is a lovely boy who was born at White Rose Rattery. He was born with tiny eyes which make him look extra mischievious. Due to his small eyes he will not be bred. Gingko is a cuddly boy who is best friends with Stumpy.

Stumpy was born at Winnie's Rattery and is missing most of the toes on his back right foot. Despite his missing toes he gets around just fine and loves zooming around with his buddies. Sadly despite his awesome personality he will not be bred due to health issues that developed in his relatives.

Celia is a confident girlie who likes playing with her rattie sisters and stealing food from everyone. Celia looks identical to Speckle but has a small tear in her ear that helps me tell them apart.

Mole is a super cuddley girl just like her mum and grandma. Her cuddley personality makes her a lovely rattie to introduce to people who are new to rats. Mole can usually be found at the bottom of the cuddle pile.

Indigo is the boss of the girls cage, she is a sassy confident girl who is always the first to the cage door demanding cuddles or play time. Indigo had a lovely litter just before she turned one.

Honey is a super relaxed friendly girl who loves cuddles. She gets very squeaky and her ears vibrate like crazy when she's on heat! She had a beautiful litter who unfortunately won't be bred from due to issues in the family line.
