Wednesday, July 13

12:00pm Parking begins for attendees

5:00–7:00pm Bring your own dinner, drinks, and chairs and gather at the Van Village tent followed by games and cards for those interested

Thursday, July 14

2:30pm Daily Announcements - Van Village

3:00pm Pre-Rally Trivia Event join us at Van Village for a fun trivia contest

7:00pm Winnebago Pre-rally Party event will include lawn games, live music and the opportunity to purchase food & beverage.

Friday, July 15

Morning tour of Lake Mills depart by bus (no pets) at 7:45 and return at 11:15.

11:30pm–1:00pm Lunch provided at Lichtsinn RV (take free shuttle buses there)

2:30pm Daily Announcements - Van Village

3:00pm Decorating for Parade - Van Village

5:00pm Bring your own dinner - Van Village. Followed by bingo and casual entertainment

Saturday, July 16

Note -the dump stations at Pammel Park will be closed on Saturday

9:00am - Winnie Bs Parade Participants Lineup at the YMCA

10:00am – Puckerbrush Parade and events to follow in afternoon

5:00pm - Pizza Party - Van Village for Winnie B members (BYOB and chairs)

10:00 pm – Fire Dept. sponsored Fireworks at Pammel Park

Sunday, July 17

Clear Lake Outing Van departure 11:15am and return after 5:00pm. Please bring a picnic lunch and we will gather at the Gazebo at Clear Lake City Tourist Park. After lunch and visiting with each other you can head out on your own to see the Surf Ballroom, Buddy Holly Crash Site and local shops downtown. On the way back to the rally grounds stop at The Viking for a tasty ice cream. Winnebago asks us to return after 5pm when rally parking is completed.

10:00am “Bee” Q&A Session Tips from a panel of experienced van travelers - Van Village

12 Noon Decorating Van Village Tent for Row Party Competition

1:30pm Single Travelers led by “Winnies Flying Solo” Panel followed by discussion about the challenges and rewards of solo travel. *open to entire rally - Van Village

3:00pm–5:00pm – GNR Happy Hour at River Oaks parking lot

4:00pm GNR Pet Parade – meet at east end of John K & Luise V Hanson Blvd.

5:00 pm Winnie Bs sponsored food truck dinner at the Flying W (for Winnie Bs members).

Friday, July 15

8:30 am Winnebago Lake Mills Plant Tour- where Winnebago B vans are produced

Bus transportation will be provided by Winnebago and can be picked up at the Shuttle Bus Stop. Please arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes early.

Bus departs at 8:00 am (no pets allowed) and will return to Rally Grounds by 1:15.

Please wear closed-toe shoes.

11:30pm–1:00pm – Lunch provided at Lichtsinn RV

Take a bus from the Shuttle Bus Stop. Simply inform the driver that you’re going to Lichtsinn RV. Note: the shuttle buses drive in a loop and will return automatically to return you to Rally Grounds.

Saturday, July 16

You have been asked to arrive at the Rally Grounds with a full water tank and empty black and gray tanks. However, if you do need to empty your tanks during the week, you can use the Pammel Park facilities

Please attend Friday’s Morning Announcements for detailed information regarding on site entry and nearby parking availability.

10:00am – Puckerbrush Parade

If you’re not walking in the parade, take a shuttle bus to downtown. Inform the driver you want to attend the parade. The driver will drop you off close to the parade’s main route and inform you of the pick-up location after the parade.

Be sure to bring your chairs/blankets to set up along the parade route.

Hint: Bring a bag for all the candy and sponges you’ll collect.

Stop and enjoy the events and food and craft vendors on the Courthouse lawn located at the end of the parade

route.

10:00 pm – Fireworks at Pammel Park - as part of the Fire Department’s 125th Anniversary Celebration

Check out activities, the Beer Garden and band located in the Fire Station/Pammel Park area. The fireworks can be seen sporadically from the Rally Grounds. The trees usually hide them.

If you’re a big fireworks fan, you may want to make arrangements to view them at the park.

All Winnie Bs are encouraged to walk in the parade. Our presence will include a

decorated B van with Winnie Bs walking alongside and dispersing candy to the crowd.

Sunday, July 17

Clear Lake Outing

Plan to drive your own van for this outing. Please depart no later than 11:45am and plan to return after 5:00pm.

It is important that we do not interfere with the scheduled RV arrival/Parking window.

Clear Lake is about a 30 minute drive from the Rally Grounds.

Clear Lake Tourist Park

Please bring a picnic lunch and spend some time with your fellow Winnie Bs in Clear Lake. We will gather at the “Gazebo” (also known as the shelter). Parking is available.

After lunch and visiting with each other you can head out on your own to stop in local shops downtown, check out the beach or see the following sites:

Surf Ballroom & Museum

Museum is open 1-4 PM on Sundays. There is a $5 per person entry fee. There are no tours, but staff is available to answer questions

Buddy Holly Crash Site

On Gull Ave between 310th St and 315th Street Check Google Maps for directions.

Park along the road and walk to the site.

You can’t miss the big black glasses.

On the way back to the rally grounds you may want to stop for a generous portion of soft serve ice cream. The Viking

7:00pm Opening Ceremonies at the Amphitheater Winnie Bs usually gather and walk in together. And, of course, it doesn’t need to be said that Winnie Bs sit together and are the most energetic attendees.
