Privacy Policy — Windy Route
Effective: 12 Sep 2026
This policy applies to Windy Route and every other game published by PicnicTubeStudio.
In short: We don't run our own servers and we don't store your data on one. Sign-in, ads, and multiplayer connections are handled entirely by Google and Unity's services. Your progress lives only on your device — uninstalling the game deletes it.
1) What we collect
Nothing, directly. Windy Route has no backend of its own — there is no PicnicTubeStudio server receiving, logging, or storing anything you do in the game. Every piece of data described below is collected and held by the third-party service that provides it, under that service's own privacy policy.
2) Third-party services
Google Play Games Services (Sign-in, Leaderboards, Achievements)
If you sign in with Google Play Games, your player ID and any leaderboard or achievement progress are stored by Google, governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Unity LevelPlay (Advertising)
Rewarded and banner ads are served through Unity LevelPlay (Unity's ad mediation platform, formerly branded "Unity Ads"), which may use your device's advertising ID to personalize and measure ads. See Unity's Player & App User Privacy Policy (https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy).
Before any ad is shown, the game asks you to accept or decline personalized advertising. If you decline, ads keep showing but are not personalized to you, and your advertising ID is not used for that purpose. You can change this choice at any time from Settings → Ad Preferences.
Google AdMob (Advertising)
Unity LevelPlay may route some of those same rewarded and banner ads through Google AdMob as one of its mediated ad networks. When it does, AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and collect ad-interaction data as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's page on how it uses information from sites or apps that use its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
The same accept/decline choice described above also applies to AdMob — declining personalized advertising stops AdMob from using your advertising ID for personalization too. You can also manage ad personalization directly at adssettings.google.com.
Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Relay)
Co-op sessions connect players through Unity Relay. This creates an anonymous Unity Player ID used solely to establish the connection — no personal data is attached to it, and the connection itself is not recorded once your session ends.
3) Data on your device
Your in-game progress — resources, unlocks, saved settings, and your ad preference choice — is written only to local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to us. Uninstalling Windy Route, or clearing its data from your device's app settings, removes it completely.
4) Deleting your data
Because we hold none of it ourselves, deletion happens directly through whichever service holds it:
Google Play Games — Play Games app → profile icon → Settings → Delete account, or manage it at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy
Advertising ID — Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete/Reset advertising ID, or decline personalized ads from Settings → Ad Preferences in-game
Local progress — uninstall the app, or Settings → Apps → Windy Route → Storage → Clear data
5) Children's privacy
Windy Route is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Age restrictions and any additional safeguards for younger players are set by the store or platform Windy Route is distributed through.
6) Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page will change with it. Meaningful changes will also be noted in the game's store listing update notes.
