WINDSURFER will be producing new datasets, tools and impact models:
New methods and tools: New databases of extreme waves in the North Sea, European Atlantic coastline and the Mediterranean. Assessments of present and future European windstorm in new climate model simulations
Impacts studies: WINDSURFER will develop new tools to asses the damage and loss from extremes winds and waves on Forestry and Insurance
Localised climate information: New methods to assess localised extreme wind gusts in Forests
As a publicly funded research project, all research outputs from WINDSURFER will be made freely available
