That's wonderful news! Here's everything you'll need to know, plus how to sign up.
Our Pack meets once every other week during the school year (September - June) with breaks that follow the school calendar (Winter/Holidays/Spring). We choose the day and time for meetings based on general Pack Member availability.
During each weekly meeting, activities are completed that are designed to help the Scouts work toward their requirements from the Scout Handbooks- these activities will earn them Adventures (and eventually, their rank Badge!).
Committing to attending the majority of meetings is expected, but occasionally missing meetings is nothing to worry about! There are plenty of opportunities for at-home activities that will satisfy requirements, and some at-home activities are even required.
Scouting is a family-oriented endeavor and we encourage as much family participation as possible. Parents or responsible guardians are expected to attend meetings and pack outings with their child and help them in each step through their advancement in the program. We are also always looking for parents to help in other capacities whenever they can. See more information below.
In summertime, we have FUN! Though the weekly pack meetings are no longer required, our pack will still routinely host get-togethers, camping, and other group outings to have fun, work on skills, and keep in touch before the Scouting year officially begins again!
