Yesterday, I noticed that BIOS version F2j was posted to the Gigabyte website. Again, hoping that XMP support would be improved, I decided to go ahead. Upon downloading this new version of the BIOS, Windows activation was broken again (honestly, not terribly unexpectedly - I see the previous version of the BIOS has been removed from the website. I assume Gigabyte knows there's a problem). I'm again going to have to call MS to get this to work.
So far in two weeks, am experiencing two separate cases of these latest MS updates being installed and causing extreme slowdown on computers. In the first case, it ended up being that Cryptographic Services were being engaged and using CPU excessively, and upon investigating it turned out this CS was being called by the Windows Update process. Killing that CS service, then stopping WU from trying to install the [older] KB5004945 (which I think is the predecessor to KB5004237) and then erasing contents of :\windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download (the WU working cache folder for downloaded updates) got the computer working.
Symptoms of that first incident were that the computer boots fine to the login screen, but as you enter the Windows login info, it then took 5 minutes or more just to get to the desktop, and from there, everything was extremely slow (5+ minutes to get Start menu, 5+ minutes to bring up Task Manager, etc., every.....single.....click....delayed reaction by several minutes.
In the second incident from last week (July 13 2021), all the same symptoms of extreme slowness, but no attribution to CryptoGraphic Services. In that case, we restored from a full system image backup, system works. Allowed this latest KB5004237 to install, and the problem began again. However, it didn't install properly I guess - got no errors though - it hung there at Installing: 73% for a LONG time, so we got impatient and rebooted to either cancel or restart the update. It "finished" however, with the pre-boot blue screen stuff saying "getting Windows ready" etc. As any update would, and later in Check for Updates, there was nothing new found. But the problem then came back within a few minutes.
Just been tearing my hair out for over an hour with my SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 64GB that booted Ultimate Boot CD once, but after I DBANed it (to check the device was all working) and re-created my bootable data, it would hang on the Syslinux prompt.

I have the Extreme 3D pro on Windows 11. I tried and then uninstalled the Logitech drivers because they caused issues. But without them, Windows 11 detected it as the correct device, and let me do the calibration. MSFS works with it as well as it did when I had Windows 10.

Like AviatorCSnet I too have had my Extreme 3D Pro since 2009, if I remember correctly. Yes, there have been issues through the different versions of Windows 11, but it has functioned and since the latest Windows 11 update and a little while earlier, the stick just works. My current Windows 11 version is:

The easiest way to download files using Xtreme Download Manager is obviously to use the web browser and selecting the download option. But, the File menu has a few other options. You can manually add a URL to download a file or add one from the clipboard. There is even a batch download option which you can use for downloading multiple files at once.
If you have an account/subscription with the service you are downloading the video from, you can enter your credentials in the program. This step is only necessary in case the streaming service prevents unregistered users from accessing the videos.
The video converter didn't work for me when I clicked it. Perhaps it is designed to only work when downloading videos through the program. Go to a video's page and click download, a pop-up should appear prompting you to select where to save the file. It also has an option to "Convert" the video. The formats which XDM can covert to are: 3GP, 3G2, MP4, MP4 HQ and MP3. When I tested this, the resultant videos were fine.
i never use download manager and i am surprised why people think that downloading files with builtin download manager of browsers are impossible!

After downloading and installing, add the Chromium extension in Brave (you should see a hint with a download link after installing XDM).
