Call Family Spotlight

Dan and Angie met working together at Seagull book before Dan’s mission.  We wrote to each other on his mission and hoped things would work out, and are so happy that they did!  We were married in the Salt Lake Temple once he returned from his mission to Bolivia.

We have been blessed with 4 amazing children, Josh, Natalie, Kaylee and Jackson. Josh was married to Hallie a year ago in the Layton Temple and she is a perfect addition to our family. 

Dan works for the church in the Family History department. (Family Search)  He is working a new digital museum experience for the Family History Library in preparation for the the Temple Square open house. He also does the design and marketing for CenterPoint Theatre working on their posters, logo designs, video trailers and more.  He has a passion for cooking especially smoking meats.  Our whole family loves to perform in musical theatre productions.  Some of Dan’s favorite roles include, Shrek in “Shrek the Musical”, Fester in “The Addams Family”, and Horton the Elephant in “Seussical”. 

Angie teaches musical theatre classes at CenterPoint Theatre as the music director for the Juniors classes at their Academy.  She also loves to perform and has had some great opportunities to perform in theaters such as Hale Center Theatre, CenterPoint Theatre, Pickleville Playhouse as well as several others.  Some of her favorite roles include The Narrator in “Joseph”, Fiona in “Shrek” with Dan, Mother in “Ragtime” and Alice in “The Addams Family”

Josh, and Hallie were married last year and are currently living with us while Hallie finishes her clinical’s for her Physical Therapy Assistant degree.  Josh is going to school at BYU studying communications.  He is currently playing his dream role in the musical “Dear Evan Hansen” as Evan Hansen at CenterPoint Theatre.  Hallie is in rehearsals for “Frozen” which will open in November.

Natalie is going to school at UVU hoping to go into nursing.  She works at the new Primary Children’s Hospital in Lehi and loves it.  She comes home most weekends and loves being able to come to our ward, especially to be with the kids in nursery.

Kaylee graduated this last May and is working at Mrs. Cavanaugh’s chocolate factory to save up some money to go on a mission next year.  She is playing Amy in “Little Women” and will be opening that show in November.

Jackson is in 8th grade and loves being social with his friends.  He is also a little performer and just finished playing Bert in “Mary Poppins” at CenterPoint Theatre and did such an amazing job!

Our family loves to spend time together.  We love playing games, traveling together, especially to Disneyland as we are big Disney fans!  We have loved being in this ward, and feel so blessed to be here.
