About Winchester Community Park
Several years ago, Winchester Soccer Club embarked on a monumental community project to develop 8.7 acres of land on Cross Street in Winchester on a former brownfield site. Now completed, Winchester Community Park is part of a continuous green space along the Aberjona River connecting Davidson Park, Leonard Field, Leonard Pond, and Muraco School Field.
The Winchester Community Park project originally unveiled Ryan Connolly Field in 2016. RCF is a 110 yards x 65 yards turf playing field with full-field lighting. WCP opened the Field House in 2021. WCP Field House is a world-class, a 110 yards x 65 yards full-field turf facility available year-round for youth and adult programming. Environmental Benefits
WCP has increased flood storage capacity on site by 4 acre feet (1.3M gallons)
WCP remediated this former brown field site by removing 35,000 cubic yards of contaminated soils (from past operation of glue factory)
WCP removed and disposed of asbestos and other hazardous materials in the tear down of the on-site building
WCP completed cleanup of this unused, abandoned property

WCP Field House Rules
Vehicles should enter WCP at the entrance near the bridge on Cross Street and should exit on the side of the parking lot near the crosswalk. No cars may exit on the bridge side of the parking lot.
Players and spectators should enter through the main entrance at the northeast corner of the building. The southeast entrance also will be open to allow players and spectators on Connolly Field to access the bathrooms in the southeast corner of the field house.
Food and drink are permitted on the second floor. Only water is permitted on the turf field.
