Why Join the Group?

Students in my group learn computer modeling techniques that are routinely used in academic and industry research. Through performing research in the group, students will learn skills in scientific communication, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. I make mentorship of students is a priority and interact with students regularly to ensure their success.

Students of all background are encouraged to apply to work in the Wilson group. Diversity is critical to creating a vibrant and successful research environment. The Wilson lab is dedicated to creating an inclusive and equitable environment where all members of the team are supported, and are able to participate both within the lab and in social work settings.
