Everyone in our office, from our receptionists to our chiropractors, have one goal in mind: to help you feel better fast. We know that when your body isn't in top shape that your entire outlook on life can be affected. That's why you'll always be greeted with a smile and leave with an even bigger one.
Dr. Jason Wills is the only chiropractor in Ortonville and it's surrounding communities (Clarkston, Goodrich, Davison, Oxford, Lake Orion) who is certified by the International College of Applied Kinesiology. He received his 100 hour post graduate education in 2003 and has learned from some of the best in the field. In addition to his initial training with Dr. Jim Hogg of Davenport, IA, Dr. Wills followed graduation with a year on the job training with Dr. John Campbell, a diplomat in the field of Applied Kinesiology (AK) in Martha's Vineyard. Because of his thorough AK training, Dr. Wills is able to determine the root cause of nearly any organ system or musculo-skeletal problem and determine the best course of action for you individually using both nutritional protocols with high quality supplements and traditional specific chiropractic corrective care.
He started his practice in 2006 and furthered his ability in holistic family healthcare by pursuing an education in Morphogenic Field Technique (MFT). He is currently 1 of 12 chiropractors in the state who are rated as proficient in this technique by its developer, and he is the only chiropractor who is both certified in AK and proficiently rated in MFT in the entire state of Michigan.
Furthermore, Dr. Wills has been an avid runner for most of his life and has recently discovered himself to be a cross-fit athlete as well. Because of his background, he also understands sports related injuries and has had the pleasure of helping hundreds of athletes reach their full potential through quality chiropractic care. He is trained to apply Kinesiotape appropriately and has a vast knowledge of trigger point work as well. Custom orthotics are also available for athletes as well as individuals with foot problems. He lives in Ortonville with his wife and 3 children.
Dr. Heather Wills has completed a 250 hour post graduate education from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is Webster Certified for the care of both pregnant women and young children. Dr. Heather grew up in a chiropractic home where her father, Dr. Randy McCall of Reynoldsville, PA has instilled the principles of chiropractic into his children from a very early age. A chiropractic miracle herself, Dr. Heather has witnessed the power of the specific chiropractic adjustment over and over again. Dr. Heather is now Chief Patient Coordinator. She coordinates laser treatments, offers nutritional counseling and dietary guidance.
This is our story:
Dr. Jason grew up in Ortonville, graduating from Brandon High school in the mid 90s, went on to 4 years of pre-med studies at Michigan State University, with a Bachelor of Science – Human Physiology. Then he started his chiropractic journey through Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Jason and Heather met at Palmer College in the early 2000s. Heather was half way through the program when Jason graduated and decided to practice with his uncle who was a very well renowned chiropractor on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. He learned a lot, and they planned to get married and stay there. Unfortunately, Massachusetts wasn’t his home and life on the Vineyard was hard, AND expensive!!
Fast forward to 2004, when it came time to get married and settle down. They decided to come back to Michigan. He has fond memories of life on The Vineyard and the “long distance relationship” they endured, but God had bigger plans for them… (Jeremiah 29:11)
