How long have you played with WTB, and how did you come to join us?
I have played with WTB for about 5 years now. I joined the band when I was at the Underhill Harvest Market Festival of 2019.  I was playing with the Fairfax/Fletcher/Westford Band. I met and spoke to Kathy Schaw who said WTB could use me to play 1st chair clarinet for their performance last minute. 

Which instruments do you play?  I play clarinet in the band (piano privately)...

Do you play in any other local bands?  
I also play in the Fairfax/Fletcher/Westford Band and in the Milton Community Band.

Are you originally from Vermont?
No.  I'm from New York.  I was born in Manhattan, but when I was 3, we moved to Potsdam, NY, where my father took a job as the area Urologist…  I received my Bachelor’s Degree at UVM- Class of 1991 in “Communication Science and Disorders” (Minored in Music). 

What kinds of things do you like to do when you aren't playing music?  
Professionally, I work at Winooski's elementary school as a general educator instructional assistant for 5th grade.

Personally, I love to travel.  I also collect minature perfumes and things.  I love being a wife and mom of 2 college students!

What else should we know about you?
I am a Colchester Lions Club member.  I'm also secretary of the Filipino-American Community of Vermont organization, and an American Cancer Society fundraiser.
