Join the Band!

Williston Town Band loves to welcome new members to our band!  Our ages range from high school to octogenarians, and we all come together with a vast array of experience levels.  Many of us joined after not playing for years (even decades!); others have only played a few years.  All are welcome and encouraged to come share their passion for playing music in a warm and friendly town band atmosphere.

During the performance season (June through August), we rehearse or perform weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. in or near the bandstand behind the Dorothy Alling Library on Williston Road (in front of Williston Central School).  In our off-season (September through May) we rehearse once (sometimes twice) a month, generally on the first Monday of each month, from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

We perform mostly at our home space at the bandstand, but we also play at the Underhill Harvest Market each year, and occasionally other venues like Vermont Lake Monsters games.

Our repertoire consists of a variety of contemporary pieces, show tunes, marches, and traditional pieces.
