How long have you played with WTB, and how did you come to join us? 33 years!

Are you originally from Vermont?
I have lived in Vermont all my life. I grew up in Springfield VT where I started playing in the Springfield community band when I was in the 7th grade. We have lived in Jericho for almost 40 years.
What kinds of things do you like to do when you aren't playing music?
Professionally, I attended UVM and upon graduating I worked at IBM and Global Foundries - as an engineer and manager, retiring after 36 years.
Personally: After retiring from Global Foundries in 2018 I have found time to relax a little! I love to cross stitch, read, garden, spend time with family and friends. And I can get to the pool to swim at 9am rather than the crazy 5am start time when I was working.
What else should we know about you? I love playing in the band! I enjoy the music, the easy acceptance of the wide range of capabilities within the group and the friendships made through the years.
