September 2025: Our group has been awarded an R15 grant by the National Institutes of Health! This $457,000 grant will fund our research on developing tools to improve endolysin activity for the next three years. A huge thanks to the students that laid the foundation for this work!

August 2023: Marcell presented his thesis work at the 266th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in San Francisco, CA. Great job representing the team, Marcell!
May 2023: A hearty congrats to Marcell! He was awarded the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry Outstanding Senior Organic Chemistry Student award and the Best Thesis Award in Chemistry.
April 2023: Kaitlyn and Marcell presented a poster at the 46th Annual West Coast Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research (WCBSUR) Conference. Great job representing the team!
March 2023: Chloë was awarded the Stauffer Award, while Carlos was awarded the Keck Summer Research Award! Congrats!
February 2023: Marcell was awarded the Cottrell Postbac Fellowship from the Research Corporation for Science Advancement. Starting this summer, he will be working in the Leconte lab in the Keck Science Department at the Claremont Colleges. Congrats Marcell!
January 2023: Professor Williams published work from her graduate career in ChemBioChem! This was a highly collaborative project between the Prescher lab (UC Irvine), Leconte lab (Keck Science Department at the Claremont Colleges), and the Mills lab (Arizona State). Congrats to everyone who helped bring this project across the finish line!
