Melsted Badehotel
It is our pleasure to host you at Melsted Badehotel, a classic sea-side hotel just outside the charming town of Gudhjem (meaning "God's Home"). The hotel is located on a beach with easy access to swimming. Breakfast is included and the hotel restaurant will host our reception and welcome cocktails.

Bornholm is known as Denmark's "sunshine island!" Extending your trip to Bornholm? We recommend booking hotels in advance, as this is a popular summertime destination. If you would like to extend your time at Melsted Badehotel, let us help make arrangements.

Melsted Badehotel is a lovely retreat that will be our home base for the weekend. Sunbathe and finish a novel in an Adirondack chair! Challenge the groomsmen to a boules tournament on the lawn! Borrow the hotel kayaks for paddle in the Baltic Sea! We have a variety of group activities planned, as well as recommendations for the island in general if you choose to explore. The wedding ceremony will take place at Gudhjem Kirke, less than one mile away.

If you have time to spare during your visit on Bornholm, there are plenty of things to see and do. We plan to coordinate some group activities, so contact us if you are interested in anything in particular. As we get closer to the date, we will include more information about activities on this site.
