I am a third year mathematics PhD student supervised by Dr Jack Button at the University of Cambridge. My main interest is in acylindrical actions on trees (acylindrical arboreality) and their links to quasi-convex splittings of hyperbolic groups, along with other properties of groups with negative or non-positive curvature.
I am also increasingly interested in group cohomology and profinite groups, and in particular in questions of separable cohomology of groups (also known as goodness in the sense of Serre).
I completed my MMath at the University of Warwick supervised by Dr Robert Kropholler, with a project on Random group theory and property FA.
