Julian Wykowski
I am a second-year Mathematics PhD student at the University of Cambridge, working on geometric group theory under the supervision of Gareth Wilkes. My email address is jw2006@cam.ac.uk.
My research interests revolve around profinite groups, profinite rigidity, Bass-Serre theory and group cohomology. In my latest project, I used profinite Bass-Serre theory to prove a profinite rigidity result for amalgamated factors of virtually free groups.
Previously, I completed an MSci in Mathematics at Imperial College London, with a project on Galois correspondence in Model Theory, supervised by Charlotte Kestner.
