This is an ongoing project. 

My Master's Project at Boston University is focused on developing an easy to use functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) measurement system, which will be an iteration of the existing ninjaNIRS 2024 lab-use system. The at-home ninjaNIRS-Self system will be self-administered by participants in fNIRS studies such that it is more feasible for experimenters to collect data in natural, at-home environments for longitudinal studies. The ability to collect such data will be important to the study of neurodegenerative conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, and mild cognitive impairment (MCI).

This work is being done in the lab of David Boas, as part of the Boston University Neurophotonics Center.
