Purpose

To promote and preserve the Wilkinson Homestead, promote learning, encourage awerness and honor for the lifeways, history and original place names of the first people, The Anishinaabek/Odawa and Ojibwe. To spotlight and appreciate the stories, history, and values of the Eastport area settler family, the Wilkinson family and museum founders. To highlight the interrelationship of our area's people, the land and waters.
