Submission Information
Three types of papers
The main aim of WILF 2021 is to allow scientific communication and fruitful exchange of opinions. A lightweight approach is adopted to foster participation and promote the exchange of ideas.
To provide room for discussing present, past and future research topics, the following types of talks are called for:
Regular communications
Current, unpublished work that is being presented for the first time. A standard-length time slot will be allowed for the presentation as well as for a subsequent discussion.
Ideas
New research directions, opinions, position talks: promising or interesting work that does not fit the standards for conventional publication. A shorter-length time slot will be allowed for the presentation, with more room for the subsequent discussion
Research highlights
Talks summarising work that was recently (max. 3 years) published in prominent journals. These are intended to increase awareness about interesting work that might not receive the deserved attention because of the currently inflated landscape of scientific journals. A shorter-length time slot will be allowed for both the presentation and the discussion.
Proceedings
All talks should correspond to a written communication that will be submitted ahead of time, subject to peer review, and upon acceptance will be submitted to CEUR Workshop Proceedings for publication in a volume of the AI*IA proceedings series, under a CC-BY 4.0 license (http://ceur-ws.org/aixia.html). This means that proceedings will be free of charge, as well as of author publication charges, will be open-access, and copyright will be retained by authors. CEUR-WS proceedings are usually indexed in Scopus, although there is no explicit agreement.
Regular communications and ideas should be submitted in the form of a short paper (typically 5 pages, no more than 9 pages) that will be published as is, in their revised form after review. Conversely, research highlights should be submitted in the form of an abstract (typically half a page, no more than one page, including only the reference to the paper being summarised) that will be edited in digest form, along with other accepted submissions of the same type, and collectively published as a single contribution.
Authors are required to use a uniform style for the papers. The ceurart styles can be found are:
Latex (we strongly encourage the authors to use the latex format)
