Sales Policy

Goats are sold on a first come, first serve basis.  In order to hold a goat a deposit of half the purchase price needs to be made.  The deposits are non-refundable.  The deposits cover the cost of housing and feeding a goat while it is being held, and compensate us for the time which the goat could have been sold to someone else if the buyer backs out of the sale.  We will refund the deposit if the goat passes away or apply the deposit to another goat.  Deposits will be refunded in full if the sale is cancelled by the seller.  We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason at any time without explanation.  We reserve the right to retain any goat.  We will not sell a single goat if it will not be housed with at least one other goat.  The well being of our animals is our top priority.  

When you are transporting a goat a large size dog crate would be ideal (out of the wind and cold).  All goats are healthy when we sell them and up to date on vaccinations, hoof trimming, deworming, etc.  However, we cannot guarantee the health of an animal after it leaves our possession.  There are too many variables that could cause illness or injury after leaving our property.

If a veterinarian determines that the goat is incapable of reproducing due to a genetic defect present at birth, the buyer is eligible to receive a replacement goat of equal value.  The buyer must submit a signed copy of the veterinary report.  Due to the fact that infertility is most often caused by environmental factors such as mineral deficiency or obesity, only a goat with a proven genetic default will be eligible for replacement.

We do NOT guarantee height. We have used over height bucks in our program; however, we only use does that are in height. We continually assess the progeny of our bucks to make sure they are producing in height does and make breeding decisions appropriately.
