WildMed is a free program thanks to the generosity of our supporters. Travel assistance is also available to Fellows who need it to participate in the Retreat.

WildMed Fellows are required to attend the Retreat held at White Oak in June 2026. The retreat lasts a full 7 days. Students will depart White Oak around noon on the final day.

Yes! WildMed staff will reach out to assist with all WildMed Fellow travel plans. Travel assistance is available for Fellow who need it.

WildMed Fellows are expected to have a form of ID on them. (Student ID, or likewise as needed for travel and check in.) If you have concerns, please reach out to discuss other arrangements. 

We recommend that students pack durable pants that they don't mind getting dirty, scrub tops, sturdy shoes and a jacket for classroom time. A full packing list is provided to Fellows prior to the retreat.

While we provide most toiletries for our students, students are welcome to bring their own preferred toiletries. 

Yes, WIFI will be accessible for students to use during the retreat.

All students will stay in a community house . Each student will have their own bedroom with a en-suite bathroom included. 

Students are more than welcome to take pictures during their stay at White Oaks. However, we kindly ask that those pictures or videos do not get posted on social media or any sharing platform, as our facility does not permit media sharing related to White Oak. We appreciate your understanding.
