The forums and chat are the two ways to interact with other players on HWO.

The 12 Main Forums

Announcements

This forum is where the HWO admins post varies different announcements, almost all the time about HWO. You can discuss the announcements on this forum.

General Chit Chat

This forum is for any conversation of any kind (as long as it's appropriate, nothing that could "pour gasoline on the fire", not about politics, and nothing about things like real home addresses, phone numbers, names, etc.).

Contests

This forum is where you can post fun contests like a horse beauty pageant or the Triple Crown.

What Colour Is My Horse?

This forum is where players can post their horses that they have questions about the color and horse color guides

Comments and Suggestions

This forum is where players can post game suggestions and comments about the game and discuss the suggestions and comments.

Breeding Communities

This forum is for things like clubs, associations, and registries.

Farm Logs

This forum is where you can post about what you do in your farm and keep track of your different breeding goals and such like that.

Horses For Sale

This forum is where you can post your horses for sale and post what horses you're looking for.

Stallions At Stud

This forum is where you can post your stallions that are for stud and post what stallions you're looking for to stud to.

Gameplay Questions & Help

This forum is where you can post your questions about the game like "How do I change my horse's name?" and have your questions answered by other players or even sometimes the admins.

Guides & How To

This forum is where you can post guides like a guide on how to train your horse.

Bugs And Errors

This forum is where you can post any bugs and errors you are having with the game.

Age Restrictions

You must be 13 years of age or older to be able to post in the forums and get into chat OR you must have the COPPA restriction form filled out by your parents and faxed in. The COPPA rules and restrictions are around to protect those that are younger than 13 on the HWO game community.

COPPA

"We are forced to place players who are under 13 years old in a COPPA group due to child privacy law. If you are under 13 and wish to have the COPPA restrictions removed we must have permission from your parents. How to post a new topic in the forums

First choose one of the 12 main forums to visit. Then you find the "New Topic" button at the top, shown in the image below, and click on that will then allow you to post.

How to Delete Your Posts

To delete a post, first of all find the post that you wish to delete and then click on the "x" button as shown in the image below

Deleting Other Players' Posts

You can't do this yourself, you have to report the post (the report the post is the "!" button to the right of the "x" button) and ask for the post to be deleted. However it must be a good reason for the post to be deleted (the post has something in it that is against the official HWO game rules, has some private information, has someone's email address, the post is off topic, etc.).

What Is Okay Versus What Isn't Okay To Post

Okay to post

• Discussion about books

• Discussion about movies

• Favorite things

• Advertising horses for sale, studs, etc.

• YouTube videos

NOT okay to post

• Anything that is inappropriate

• Personal information (phone numbers, email/gmail addresses, real names, etc.)

• Advertising your books for sale

• Anything else along the lines of this

• Cuss words

• Swearing

Remember that anyone and everyone (anyone of any age, anyone who's got an HWO account, and anyone who doesn't have an HWO account) can see what you're posting on the forums so if you don't want the whole world to see/know something, then simply don't post it.
